Workshops & Training

InterAct offers recurrent training as well as bespoke courses. Our interactive sessions offer a balanced menu of building knowledge, gaining understanding and practising skills. Our customers are both foreigners working and living in Kenya and Kenyans working in an international environment.

We offer the following training modules:

Cross Cultural Awareness - The basics

You have recently moved to Kenya and are curious about the customs and way of life in your new country. You are sometimes feeling lost, but you are open and willing to learn and laugh about yourself, about Kenya, about others....

Transition and Adaptation - For Dependants

You have moved to Kenya with your partner, for his or her job. You have left behind your family, your friends, your job and all that was familiar to you. You feel like you are losing your identity, and sometimes your mind. From a competent, functioning person, you have changed into someone who doesn't know where to buy grapes or how on earth to find a good plumber.

Cross Cultural Awareness - For The Workplace

Your workplace is Kenyan, but you are not. Or your workplace is multicultural and your colleagues are from everywhere. During lunch time, you will hear Kiswahili, French, English, and 2 other languages. More intriguing than the language though, is the fact that your colleagues always seem to have different priorities. Their planning is short term, while yours always has been long term. You wonder about the right way to approach your boss, since you come from a low-power-distance society, but she doesn't.
